The 29th European Biomass Conference and Exhibition (the second in virtual form) has concluded, underlining once again the great attention given by the accademic and entreprenurial world to bioenergy and bioeconomy topics.

The BLAZE project was presented during one of the many scientific session, focussing on “Downstream Conditioning and Gasification Applications”. Professor Enrico Bocci, from USGM (BLAZE coordinator) gave the audience a detailed presentation on the project objectives and on its mid-term results, starting from the assembly of the pilot plant.

During EUBCE another BLAZE related session took place. This was the 4th online event of the Stakeholder platform BIOCOGEN 2030, the initiative born out of the cooperation between the projects BLAZE and Smart CHP.

The session was focussed on showcasing some biomass CHP solutions suitable for rural aereas, developed by BIOCOGEN 2030 partners. Giulio Poggiaroni from EUBIA presented briefly the BIOCOGEN 2030 objectives and activities and introduced the the distinguished speakers. Down below you can download their presentation:
